Welcome Back to all Families and Whanau after the holidays.
We hope you had a lovely rest.

This is another busy term, so we hope you have all had a lovely restful holiday.
This term at school we are learning all about our national bird, the kiwi.
We are also continuing lots of work in reading, writing and maths. Children are doing so well at school this term. If you have any questions or queries, please feel free to pop in to see you child's teacher.
A little bit about Te Whanau Kakano:
Kakano means seed, and as the youngest Whanau at Panama Road School, we are the precious seedlings beginning our journey at school. There are four classrooms made up of Year 0, Year 1 and Year 2 children.
Mrs Brenda Robins is a Year 1/2 Teacher in Room 9.
Miss Sibongile Shabalala is the Teacher in Room 8, and she teaches Year 1/2.
Mrs Kogi Gounden is the Teacher in Room 7 who works with Year 0/1 children.
All children turning 5 will join Room 7.
Mrs Jane Dold is the Teacher in Room 6.
She has a Year 1 class, and she is the Lead Teacher in Whanau Kakano.
