Working together to keep our school looking beautiful
Every few months, an invitation is sent out to anyone in the community who would like to come along and help tidy up our school, around the gardens, trimming trees and working on overgrown vegetation.
For our October working bee, it was an overcast afternoon with a little bit of rain, but it didn't stop the hard workers getting into it. We had an amazing turn out, with 30+ people coming along to help out, ranging in age from 5 years - 58 Years.
Many hands - along with a chainsaw, weed eaters, spades and rakes, etc - do make light work, and after two hours of hard labour, the front gardens had been completely transformed.
So a huge thank you to all those who gave us a hand in any way on the day. Your hard work and dedication towards making our school look beautiful does not go unnoticed.
We finished up the night with good talks and a sausage sizzle.
Keep an ear out for details on the next one, all are welcome!!
