"The more that you read, the more things you will know.
the more that you learn, the more places you'll go"
- Dr Seuss
Welcome to the Panama Road School Library. Here you will find a place for relaxation, research and information gathering, entertainment and lots of learning, all at your fingertips. We encourage independent thought, learning and opinion.
Each class visits the library at least once a week to borrow books and learn basic library skills. Once your child has found a book they like, they may take it to the issuers desk where they are each assigned an individual number and the book is processed on our system.
Please make sure the books are returned to the school library on or before the due date.
Our librarian Joanne Paku, encourages children to love and enjoy reading. Joanne has a strong vision and passion for reading which includes engaging the most reluctant of readers. She also helps out with school sports and the children love going to visit her in the library at morning tea and lunch times for special activities held throughout the week.

Our school library gives you access to our library catalogue from anywhere. All you need is that website address for access to what books we have here and also useful information using 'One Search', on topics the students are learning at each term.
